This 7-track demo is named for a fantasy weapon. Basic meaning of the title is, that the recording is not perfect, but
you will get the point. Obsidian can be made sharper than steel, but is very brittle. It was the trading commodity of Catal
Huyuk. A gaff is a hand-held hook used to impale the head of an ornery fish. We will break it off and leave it in you.

Instrumentation
Guitars used were an ESP explorer and a customized Antares Falling Angel. Basses were a B. C. Rich Warlock and an Ibanez
explorer. Drums are a Sonor 7-ply birch kit with Zildjian, Paiste, and Sabian cymbals. The recording process was fairly raw,
without over-layering or effects.
