REACHING OUT TO OUR COMMUNITY

Assistance League of Georgetown Area is a nonprofit, philanthropic volunteer organization dedicated to reaching out to those who need help within our community.

 

Assistance League of Georgetown Area was granted guild status in May of 1998 and chapter status in July of 2001.  It is a chapter of  National Assistance LeagueŽ  which was organized in 1935 as a non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization.

 

Currently there are over 120 chapters with over 24,000 members  practicing compassionate giving in communities nationwide.

ORGANIZATION

Assistance League of Georgetown Area was granted guild status in May 1998 and chapter status in July 2001.  Members volunteered over 13,877 hours during 2007-2008 administering, funding and staffing our philanthropic programs.

 

Assistance League of Georgetown Area

supports four philanthropic projects by giving thousands of

volunteer hours each month to produce funds that benefit

hundreds of children and many adults

in Williamson County annually.
