New Horizon Montessori School has been in operation since 1978. The maximum student to teacher ratio in the Early Childhood
& Kindergarten (ages 3 - 6) is 9 to 1. In the Elementary the average is 12 to 1. The school is open from early August
through May.
New Horizon Montessori School is also a Teacher Training Center for Montessori Educators International, Inc. (MEI, Inc.).

no substitute for observing a school, and we encourage you to visit us.
Classroom observation times are by appointment weekdays from 8:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Classroom observation is for adults
only, but children are welcome to accompany parents on school tours which can be arranged during the school year any time
after 3:30 PM, or on weekends and any time during the summer. Feel free to call the school at (865) 970-4322 (7:30 to 5:30),
