BEST TOYS OF 2007 (imho of course) They are listed in no particular order

Best Marvel:

ML 1 Hercules

ML 1 Annihilus BAF

ML 2 She Hulk

SDCC Lawyer She-Hulk - two costumes in one, and not hard to find at all thanks to hasbrotoyshop.com

ML 3 Black Knight - Don't mind that it's not the "classic" armor, still looks great - slightly hurt by the fact that he can't decently fit into the "Atomic Steeds" that came packed with the older Toybiz Hawkeye or Taskmaster.

ML 3 Brood Queen BAF - fantastic figure and perfect complement to the Marvel Select Brood

ML 3 Astonishing Cyclops - almost completes a X-Men team line-up

ML 3 Marvel Girl - very cute figure

FF 1 Doctor Doom - better than Toybiz ML versions

FF 1 Invisible Woman

FF 1 Ronan BAF - could have use a little more wash but continues the Annihilation trend

Marvel Select Brood and Skrull 2-pack

Spiderman 5" scale Shocker, Kraven, Lizard and Vulture - good replacements for the old animated line.

Best DC:

DC Direct Infinite Crisis 2 Donna Troy - perhaps not as nice as the protos and too tall but still nice enough for me to get both variants

DC Direct Justice League Black Canary and Vixen

DC Direct Shazam Mary Marvel - both the regular and variant figures are nice

DC Direct Wonder Woman Series 1 Wonder Woman

DC Direct 52 Booster Gold

DC Direct 52 Animal Man

Mattel DC Universe Parasite

Mattel DC Universe Mongul

Mattel DC Universe Darkseid (like the darker black repaint)

Mattel DC Universe Supergirl (blue repaint/resculpted head)

(Though these Mattel DC Universe figures are sculpted superbly and have better articulation than their DC Direct counterparts, they lack of availability really hurts, I couldn't get any of the following figures)

Mattel Clayface - Really wish DCD had mad him in their Hush line, this figure looks like a must-have.

Mattel Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) -  was hoping to replace the giant DCD version but just couldn't find the figure in stores

Mattel Two-Face

Mattel DCU (w/ build-a-Metamorphi) - I saw a few at Target, although they looked really nice, unfortunately I'm too heavily invested in DC Direct to make the total transition to this line..

Best Transformers:

Japanese exclusive Masterpiece Megatron

Movie 2008 Concept Camaro Deluxe Bumblebee - love his gun/dagger weapon

Real Gear line

Transformers Walmart Exclusive Masterpiece Starscream - in G1 colors!

G1 Robot Heroes - really cute

Japanese Soundwave MP3 player (Spark Blue color of course) - awesome update to the G1 figure

Best of the rest:

GI JOE 25th anniversary - I never collected these in the 80's, more of a Transformers fan, but I was glad to get in on the ground floor of this, possible toyline of the year.  Though they may be a bit fragile, the cardbacks, sculpt and accessories are top notch and finally we get some great female figures like Scarlett, Baroness and Lady Jaye.

NECA 300 Queen Gorgo

NECA Masters of the Universe Stactions - I continue to enjoy these great mini-statues, especially Webstor, Snake Face and the new Jitsu.

Biggest Dissapointments:

Never saw much of the Mattel DC Universe figures in stores

Hasbro Marvel Legends Hydra Agent was too big to make a decent henchmen!

Transformers Classics Seekers only available at Botcon 2007 for $329 a set for non-members (just couldn't afford it at the time).

Transformers Alternators line ended this year (did enjoy the SDCC Rodimus exclusive figure though it just came and went at HTS)

No Transformers Alternators Frenzy (could have been an easy repaint of Rumble)

Transformers Movie Starscream and Blackout should have been Leader class (glad to get Brawl at this size)

Transformers Movie Bonecrusher should have been at least a Voyager Class

Ugly Hasbro Marvel Legends 1 White Queen

Still no new NECA Hellraiser Cenobites besides a new Pinhead.

No Celestials - I'd even take some statues of these Marvel aliens

Looking forward to most in 2008

ML 4 Beast - complete the Astonishing X-Men team

ML 4 Nova

ML 4 Tigra

ML 4 BAF Nemesis

additonal Marvel Select Henchmen (AIM and SHIELD?)

Iron Man Movie Iron Monger - should look good with a coat of metallic blue paint

Hulk Classics Valkyrie

Hulk Classics Fin Fang Foom BAF

DCD New Teen Titans Jericho and Terra

DCD Green Lantern Series 3 Star Sapphire

DCD Justice League Alex Ross Batgirl and Supergirl

Transformers Quintessons and Nightbird from impossibletoys.com (executioner, baliff, scientist) - if they are as nice quality as their earlier release of the Quintesson Judge, i'll certainly be glad to get them all.

Transformers Classics 2.0 - should be good to get Sunstreaker, Sideswipe and triple-changer Octane!
