The mission of Aikikai Associates - West Coast is to help preserve the traditional teachings of the founder Morihei Ueshiba, We accomplish this through diligent and focused training, and by being open to guidence and support from the present Doshu, his representatives, and dedicated dojos of the global aikido community.

The Association is overseen by the association Shihan, Francis Y. Takahashi. The Association has established Administrative Officers, a Technical Committee and Guidlines. The Association is supported by Association Fees collected from the Member Dojos.
