    1. ABBREVIATION MASTER:  QNUMBERS and FFRACTIONS

QNUMBERS (1 to 9,999) Qnumbers are an efficient way to type numbers while rarely leaving the home keys. All numbers are preceded by "q" and asdfghjklo = 1234567890. For example 2004 is qsoof. The numbers flow from left to right on the home keys. We have seen no faster way to learn and type numbers with letters.

FFRACTIONS (1/2, 1/3, 5/8, 15/16, etc.) Ffractions use a simple method to type fractions: All fractions begin with "f": f14 = 1/4. Alternatively, you can use Qnumbers by replacing the "q" with "f" to get fractions: fas= 1/2, fdf = 3/4.

    2. ABBREVIATION MASTER:  VITAL SIGNS

Shortcuts to type temperature, pulse and respirations using three different methods (the colon, the verb "is" or simply a space) are included in this file. A separate file does the same thing with Qnumbers.

    VITALS (temperature, pulse, respirations).
QVITALS (uses Qnumbers to type vital signs)

Here is a screen shot using the colon format.

Only the letters "tc" have been typed. To select "Temperature: 90.6 F", you would type  "6" and a marker key.  A total of 4 keystrokes gets 20.
