If you meet the criteria of our chapter, just contact a chapter member and introduce yourself.  We are looking forward to meeting you and we are delighted to answer your questions about our outings and activities.
 
June 17th.-21st., 2009  "Whiddle da Wood Festival", Craig, Colorado  The Whittle the Wood event will be from Wednesday June 17 through Saturday June 20.  There will be a concert on Saturday when the judgeing takes place.  Please make reservations early at Yampa River State Park which is just west of  Hayden, as there are limited spaces.  Colorado State Park Pass required.  For information contact John Jepkema jjepkema@bresnan.net or call him at (970) 846-3373.

July 17th.-19th, 2009  Circle the Wagon RV park in La Veta, CO.   Full hookups, situated on a river in La Veta.  Within walking distance of town. 
There is a train that runs between La Veta and Alamosa, and another one that runs to the top of the mountains.  There are also nearby opportunities for hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities.  Please contact Mitzi Nebhut, mitzinebhut@yahoo.com or John Johns at (303) 466-6675 for further information.   
 
August 14-16  Colorado State Samboree  at the  Gunnison County Fairgrounds.  Early bird parking Aug. 13, 2009.  Theme:  "Freedom for All".  For registration form and information refer to your  April 2009 COGS magazine or go to the state good sam website:  coloradogoodsam.org
 
September 17th.-20th.  Wine Fest, Palisade, Co.  Please book reservations early at the James M Robb Colorado River State Park at exit 47 off I-70.

We are the Colorado Solo Sams, a chapter of the Good Sam Club, for Good Sam single RVers.

Our Mission
To further the principles of the Good Sam Club, to create interest in camping, travel, enjoyment, fun and companionship of singles who uphold the Good Sam Pledge.

Membership is open to both men and women, who are single as a result of death of a spouse, divorce, or by choice.
We like  the companionship of others who enjoy the outdoors, RVing or camping.
During summer we enjoy campouts.
During winter we meet at members' homes or restaurants.

membership:
To be eligible for membership in our chapter we ask that you are a member of the Good Sam Club national organization.  Our chapter dues are $10.00 annually.  To get acquainted with our group we invite you to attend our outings.  Membership is open to both men and women but you must be legally single.
