Setting Up Your OWN 2300 Website!

On the ad2300 Mailing List, we got asked, a lot, "How do I set up a 2300 website?" Well, here're the steps you need to take to get started:

1. Find a place (such as Angelfire, GeoCities, Tripod, or Xoom) to get your own free HomePage.
2. Read the agreement, then fill out and submit the form, there.
3. Shortly thereafter, you'll receive an E-mail with your site's information (save that, as you'll need it later).
4. In the meantime, start creating your own HomePage!
5. Get a copy of the Disclaimer and either put the text on your HomePage, or link it to it (as I did on mine).
6. Send an E-mail to Marc Miller, informing him that you have a 2300 website. That's not much to ask, since he's allowing you to use his Copyrighted and Trademarked material.
7. Now work on your web pages. Decide what material you want to focus on, at your site... Earth in 2300? Bessieries? Beta Canum Venaticorum? Han Shan? Perhaps no place in particular, but starships, or cyberpunk? Once you have a topic, link in pages you've created on different aspects of those topics. (My site focuses on no area, but on the Intelligent Alien Races, Weapons & Equipment (including Robots), the 2300 products and where to get them, and general information of the background and mechanics of the game).
8. Finally, once your site is up and running, E-mail me, and I'll add you to my Links page!

That's pretty much it! Now just keep adding on, until you're satisfied with the results!
