Kurita 2300X: The latest offering by Kurita Arms is a progressive refinement of the Type-79 Assault Rifle in a Gauss Rifle configuration, which has been under development by Kurita for years. A unique bonus-opportunity program instituted by the company for employees with new ideas or problem-solving ability has resulted in a gauss rifle of exceptional performance. Since its introduction, it has become Japan's current service weapon. Kurita Arms makes two versions of this rifle, the only difference between them being that the mass of the heavier one is increased 2 kg by the incorporation of a standard, rifle-integral grenade launcher.
