I am pleased - though i didn't have the opportunity to read the whole stuff
yet (actually I just skimmed over it but intend to return occasionally...).
There is obviously a bunch of people sharing my views of SF. Though I didn't
like the rules set originating with Twilight 2000 (be it in 2300 AD,
Traveller: The New Era or whatsoever) I have always been thrilled by general
approach of 2300 AD depicting a world which allows for a better understanding.
Being also a long-time Traveller geek and understanding (or at least claiming
to do so) the concepts of GDWs basics designing SF games 2300 AD is
constantly gaining more influence on my campaigns - even after the demise of
GDW. Up to now its more Your collection of links which thrills me the most
than the actual adventures since the science links offer me an even more
powerful tool to reshape my SF roleplaying - thanks a lot!

Hi, Thanks for creating such a complete and friendly resource! I am new to
2300 and have gleaned a volume or two of info from your site on my first
visit. Being new to the game, I have particularly benefited from the product
info and purchasing sources you have compiled. Thanks again.
David
You're welcome, David, and thanks for the comments!

Good.
Really? Why?

I am very impressed with the materials that 2300ad has on the net. Your site
certainly add lustre to a expansive universe. I am almost of the opinion
that your community of fans have profited from this state of orphaning.
I especially like reading the future history of Nigeria, as I am an Africanist by training, and always disappointed when I see it disappearing out of future imagning. I was very pleased with the sophistication of the treatment which is not something I have come to expect in fictions dealing with the continent. One note, there are some factual errors in the Nigeria page. I hope you do not mind if I note them, it is my Africanist background coming out. The Niger-kordafan langauges (or Niger-Congo as is now prefered in linguistic circles) are not Bantu, rather Bantu is a subset of the Niger-Kordufan group. Rather like the Romance languages are a sub-set of the Indoeuropean group. Bantoid languages start somewhere in the border area of Nigeria and Cameroun. The other item, is there is no longer a Hamitic group. This name was discarded a while bakc in favor of this nomenclature: Afroasiatic and its subfamilies: Chadic (inc. Hausa), Berber (e.g. Tashelhit), Semitic, Cushitic (Somali) etc.
But other than this small-minded nitpicking, I am so very pleased to see something like this. Please do keep up the good work and I look forward to keeping up with this new found science fiction.
Ciao

Wow, lot's of good info on an old favorite! GREAT SITE!!!
The only thing you may be missing (coming from a techno-fanatic) is advanced tech stuff. (I've even adapted a few weapons/armor systems from Battlelords Lock-N-Load- just raising the malfunction number for "prototypes" and increasing damage from the stadard weapons with adding a few special effects). Only a suggestion.
Will you ever have more in-depth info on the military organizations? If you need any help, I'd make a stab at it (I spent 4 years as a Weapons Tech in the USN), let me know.
2300 has lower tech than many Sci-Fi RPGs, as it is a "harder science" game (no anti-gravity, etc). There is some pretty fancy stuff in the New Equipment Section, though.
More in-depth info on the military organizations might make it up, here, someday, but probably not soon. Too many other things to do!

Comments:
The writing is a bit big in the Adventure section. I've scaled down my
Browser font to its minimum just to make it more easily readable. I haven't
been to the rest of your site yet and will drop such comments when I've been
through it. Looks good though.

Comments:
Great site. I am really entused by the amount of information.

Comments:
Very well detailed and informative. (no, I'm not brown-nosing the referee,
here.. ;-)

Comments:
You have done a most impressive and thorough job. I used to own most of the
2300ad items, but they were destroyed in a flood when I lived in New Orleans.
All the items you have shown an interest in are easily available to me, but I
cannot find a copy of Starcruiser. Write me if you would like to trade a few
items or what. I really want to run the game for my players, and the ship to
ship system would help me, especially design and detailed warships.
Thanks
Check out the sources page for sites where you can buy _Star Cruiser_, or any other 2300 product.

Awww, I really wish folks would leave some feedback, when they sign the Guestbook! :(

I don't feel qualified to rate the site.
You said to come, and here I am. That slae page had 3 books I'm missing for
$17 total (Yea!). It might be nice to include a 2300 product list. Maybe
you did, I'm not done looking.
Yes, I did... The Products page is accessible from the preceding link.

At long last, 2300AD seems to get the recognition it never had...I'll need to
dig out my old RPG box from my parent's cellar and see if I can get some old
friends together... Thanks
You're welcome!

I like the description of the old supplement very usefull.
I thought newcomers to the game might find it so!

Very informative and well thought out. Have read and played the ancient
Traveller Starter Game (yep, I'm that old) but not pursued sci-fi RPG in
awhile. Working on my own sci-fi setting and wanted to see what was out
there as far as systems, etc...

I'm impressed and a little envious. I really enjoy the setting of 2300AD and
hope to renew gaming in the L.A. area especially for Starcruiser (with home
mod's). Thanks.

Not a bad site, if your are intrested in out of print 2300 material, I've got
quite an extensive colection, including Star Crusier.

Always glad to see another 2300 website. Personally, I think that 2300 AD
was the best SF RPG setting ever made...pity to see it go out of print. I
love the fact that you have material I can use in my games (always #1 in my
book), but I also appreciate your mention of various sources who sometimes
carry 2300 books and your personal thoughts and experiences with them (I've
been waiting for Crazy Egor's, too, so I sent a mail or two off to the others
you listed), as well as your section on making your own 2300 website. That's
something I'd like to do in the (hopefully near) future, so I greatly
appreciate the info and encouragement - that's how we can keep the game
alive!
Thanks for the comments! Once you get a site up, please let me know, and I'll add you to the list of 2300 sites.

A first-rate site! Excellent links, and easy on the eye to boot! If you can`t
find it here, you`ve misjumped, and are in a heap of Kim Chee!!
I just hadda ask Curlysan what "Kim Chee" is... As he explained it, it's basically salsa...

Nice site. Well done...

Great Site.
Thanks for all the hard work. I found your recommendations on how to obtain
2300AD products especially useful.

Comments:
Excellent Site. Some of the links (to crosswinds.net) seemed extremely slow,
but all the in-house stuff is great. I just got all my 2300 stuff out of the
loft (which I do at least once every six months or so), but this time I
really think I'm going to use them. ;-)

Comments:
This site is quite good.. more equipment and weapons would be nice:D Some
missions/tasks would add a little perfectness feeling of this site..
and thanks of this site..

I heard you were off the air for a while. Good to have you back. Quite like
your site.
The site was always here, but the HomePage didn't have links to anything else, for a few days, while I pulled all the links to a certain person's site off all my pages (at his demand).

Compliment for your effort in keeping alive 2300AD.
You have collected a lot of material!

No nonsense site which puts the priority on content rather than looks. A regular goldmine for us 2300AD players/GMs out there, and we are sure glad this site is back!

Nice to see there are some people still interested in 2300. Keep up the good work.

Glad you came back. The site still looks great.

Cool! Another 2300 website!

It is great to see 2300 again. I was a real fan of the game, and wrote the
bio of Joe Orsaluk, the American president. It
brought back many memories to see Joe again! I felt that 2300 was the best
SF game ever, and would dearly love to see it resurrected by GURPS (or
somebody!), the way Traveller is returning.
Wouldn't we all!

Comments:
i like your site.... of course my artwork helps it alot
We agree your artwork helps out, and I'm glad you like the site, too, Richard. I hope you're enjoying that copy of _2300 AD_

Lovely site nad I appreciate all of the 2300 info that you make available.

This site has a lot to offer, all of it very useful. The best 2300ad-site
I've seen.
Wow! Thanks for the compliment!

Great Site
I have always loved because it - unlike most RPG worlds is somthing I truly
can belive. Does anyone know were I can find more information about Kaffer
space?
Try the Kafer Sourcebook.

Comments:
Top notch site! I was thinking of buying a copy of 2300ad and decided to see
if anyone still played the game. I found your site and I must say I'm
impressed. Not only with the detail you've included, but also with the
number of hits you've generated. Keep up the good work.
We try!

Comments:
Congratulations on putting something wonderful together for the 2300
enthusiast. Please continue doing what you are doing and we'll just sit back
and enjoy it all.
Again, we try!

Fantastic site! I'm glad to see 2300 is still around. I suppose I played a
lot more Traveller than 2300, but no system ever brought the material to life
as did this system... Easy combat, interesting(!!) aliens... completely
awesome.

2300 AD lives... One of the best systems ever!

Good.. more equipment would be good... and some rules of cybet and cyber

See the New Equipment Section and the CyberGear sub-section thereof.

Very nice like the fact that it is still growing. I thought that everyone had
forgotten 2300AD nice to see I was wrong.
2300 still has lots of fans. We wish Tantalus, Inc. (the current copyright holders) would bring it back!

Jolly nice

You site is interesting since it praises 2300 ad. Untill know I thought the
game and the unverse in it were a small time venture, with no fans. Boy was
I wrong. Additionally, for over 9 years I have been collecting 2300 ad and
Traveller Sourcebook. And that really cool fold out map of Known Space...
If anyone want's a copy e-mail me.

Hey, yoy!
Nice work!

Comments:
Good site - I've been off the www for about a year, but I'm VERY impressed.
Nice work, one and all - the colection together of all the works here is
simply an astounding acheivament (your fingers must be worn down to the
knuckles from all the typing! Keep it up!

Comments:
Thanks for a fantastic site about one of my favourite RPGs. 2300 AD is not
defunct and me and my players had a good help of the information on your
site.

Comments:
I just went online, looked up 2300AD and......nothing. Until I checked out
Yahoo. I found all this great material and best of all I find that I'm not
the only 2300AD addict in the world. Now if I could only find a few good
players, who am I kidding, I just need a few players period. Great site!
Good luck in your player-search! Check out the Adventures Section for some quick starters!

Comments:
I like the articles a lot. With 2300 dormant for so long the availability of
this type of material is essential if the game is to survive. This site
represents a valuable resource to 2300 directors.
That's the goal, anyway. Thanks for the feedback!

Comments:
Great Site! Im glad that a) there are still people out there who are 2300AD
fans and b) who are doing more than just whine about the fall of GDW- and are
still working on a lot of the loose ends of the game. I signed on the
mailing list... Ive got some ideas on how to deal with the continuing Kafer
War (who doesn't!) and it would be interesting to run some of them by the
rest of you... Be SeeIng YoU!

Comments:
I would love to see more of the old Challenge articles on this page ....
Keep up this great site!
Due to copyrights, only the articles of authors who have granted their permission can appear here. As you can imagine, tracking them down - years after the fact - can be tough! Any help you can provide would be appreciated by all viewers of this site!

Comments:
Amazing site!
And to think that i believed 2300AD to be dead :-)
Nope! :)

Comments:
Great site! My only problem is that like some pages on the Great Game II
website, certain pages won't print out. Oh well..Just think you did this all
for me (and maybe a couple dozen other nuts).
You, and a whole lot of other 2300 fans! Most articles on this site won't print, due to copyright reasons...

Comments:
It's good to see so much support for a game that (tragically) has been out of
print for almost 7 years! Keep up the good work!

Comments:
A nice site; particularly good to see a collected list of all the aliens from
2300. Keep up the good work. (My URL listing isn't really a 2300AD site,
but will probably be of interest to anybody who likes 2300)

Great site!! I found a lot of secondary info that goes great into a 2300AD
collection. I'm still hunting some magazine articles to complete my
collection. Anyone ever thought of creating a network where we can mail
photocopies of needed magazine articles to each other?
In general, that can't be done (legally) without the permission of both the individual author, and the magazine in which the article appeared. The copyrights on the _Challenge_ magazine articles reverted to the individual authors, when GDW folded in 1996. The copyrights on _The Traveller's Digest_ articles passed to Roger Sanger when DGP sold them. Other magazine's copyrights are owned by person or persons unknown...

Great content, needs the space to split into multiple pages ;)
Heh! Sorry I'm so verbose!

I was glad to find out the Traveller 2300 did not die with GDW.

Cool Stuff, will probably use for Full Thrust Campaign
Awww!

Comments:
Some truly great stuff on this site! Particularily liked the link to C. W.
Hess's 2300 Resource archive.
Actually, this site is the 2300 Resource Archive.

Comments:
Hey, cool, a 2300AD-site. Can I participate/share articles? I'm particularly
interested in medical background of all sorts, i.e. how does/could the
low-berth/cryo-freeze work? E-mail me.
Yes, submissions are welcome. 2300 doesn't have low-berth, though, although the _Bayern_ has cryonics...

Comments:
Would be nice to have more info on earth and its colonies...
Also, maps of the others Solar System, planets etc.
What about A the 2300ad universe... 20 years after the "unification war":
A world where Earth is at 80% under Single Gouvernment!
See the GG II site for the maps. We disagree that 80% of the Earth under a single government is a good thing! GDW decided to keep nationalities as an integral part of the game (and rightly so, in my opinion). Would you want to see 80% of Earth under the heel of France?

Comments:
A site with really good contents. I like the fact that there are few graphic
effects: this saves me time & money. Even so, changing the layout could
make it even better. Could numbers be changed for bullets? Perhaps tables
could be utilized? Anyway, the most important aspects are in place: We have
a very dynamic, content-rich web site!

Comments:
Hi Steve! :)
As for the site rating, this is just a social visit. I don't know anything
about the Tantalus games...
Thanks for the visit, Bill!

Comments:
Thank you very much for putting such a great site together. All of us 2300
AD fans thank you!
You're all quite welcome! I appreciate the feedback!

Comments:
There's lots of info on this site - good work! The section on aliens looks
promising, can't wait for it to be completed.
Maybe one of these years... I'm only about a year or more behind schedule! <Grumble!>

You've done well in linking to all the 2300 sites you could find.

Thanks. Glad you liked the Links page.

Good Work, Scout (Rhu). You should see how good this

Thanks, old buddy (he knows I use the non-graphical Lynx web browser)!
