GENTLE, FAST AND EFFECTIVE

|
 |
Specialized techniques from
a gentle style of five-element Japanese acupuncture known as Toyohari.
Toyohari was developed in
Japan by skilled masters who most were blind. Combining their knowledge with a heightened sense of palpatory skills,
these masters developed Toyohari into a refined style of acupuncture. Toyohari emphasizes
the approach that, "less is more". The quality of touch is caring and non invasive. Toyohari has many specialized techniques that may
be applied some of these being non-insertive. This makes it an excellent choice for
those who are very sensitive, needle phobic, children, and the elderly.
Today,
Toyohari continues to develop outside of Japan, in places such as Europe, Australia and the U.S. There are numerous Toyohari practitioners worldwide, most practice in Japan. Currently, there's approximately
a hundred Certified Toyohari Practitioners in the U.S. I'm happy to say that
I am one of them. To maintain this certification I'm required to attend
National trainings, and participate in
local Kozato meetings with other certified practitioners. These meetings are unique to the Toyohari
Medical Association. Attending regular meetings provides the opportunity for us to improve our skills as practitioners.
Techniques are performed and directly assessed by one another. Feedback is given, updated techniques are reviewed, and treatment
protocols are shared. http://www.toyohari.org
