David Lewin has been a practicing
artist since 1978. He received a B.A. in Printmaking from San Francisco State University
in 1978 and his Masters in Fine Arts in Printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1981. Lewin has done a considerable
amount of teaching in his career in the U.S. as well as internationally.
In 1988, David established David
Lewin Glass Design which he expanded in 1997 into a working art glass studio in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. There he designs and creates a range of unique work, both functional and
sculptural.
David's works of sculpture are
exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and are
in collections internationally.
