In 1988, David established David Lewin Glass Design which he expanded in 1997 into a working art glass studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There he designs and creates a range of unique work, both functional and sculptural.

David's works of sculpture are exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and are in collections internationally.
