    • Rental information: Call hall phone, for current information. You get a recording where to call, and the hours to call. Cindy Fontes is now handling the hall management.
    • Directions: From Redlands, Get off of the I-10 Freeway at Orange or University and go North to Colton Ave. Go right / East on Colton Ave. to Crafton Ave. Left on Crafton, about 50 yards. Ample parking at rear of hall. When it is hot, bring lawn chairs and your shade covers. Limited outside seating for festas with nice breeze. Food served inside on upper floor with wheel chair & handicapped access at front of hall.

    • Directions: I-10 Freeway East to Redlands. Church is South of the 10 Freeway. Take the ORANGE STREET / DOWNTOWN off ramp to Eureka Street. Turn right on Eureka, continue South on Eureka to the corner of Eureka and Olive. The Church is on the corner of Eureka and Olive. Be careful, Orange and Cajon are same street, just different parts.   • Festas & other Portuguese events:

    • Matança do Porco & Annual Meeting
      Sunday, February 5, 2006, starting about 12 noon, at the PA Club. The annual meeting will start at 1:00 pm. Dinner will follow the annual meeting. This is your chance to eat authentic Portuguese food Remember this wonderful dinner is by donation only, so don't forget to drop a few bills in the donation box. Be generous with your donation, the food is exelent.

      The menu will be a tantalizing mix of authentic Portuguese foods. Our cooks specialize in "Portuguese Piggy"; Portuguese Chicken and rice; Portuguese beans; American gren salad; bread; beer and wine. We are aslo appealing to all of you fabulous cooks who still know how to make all those wonderful Portuguess goodies such as cakes, rice pudding, and above all Malaçadas, to please bring some. As Anthony Freitas would say "Your Donation would be greatly appreciated". We will be accepting any and all donations for our auction table.


      Menu details: Portuguese Chicken, Carne Assada, pork liver, Inhames, Torresmos, Morcela blood sausage, Portuguese Beans, Linguica sausage, Green Salad, Rice Pudding.

      Our annual meeting will take place at 1 pm. We will be reviewing the club's progress. At this time, the general membership will elect one person to serve on the Board of Directors. If you are a member, and you would like to serve on the Board and are to shy to speak up during the meeting we can arrange for you to be nominated.
    Entertainment: Auction**, Visiting, Contas, Election of Officers.
    ** if you would like to donate items for our auction, please bring them that day and place them on the auction table in the hall.

    Our monthly club meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month with the exception of August when there is no meeting. The meetings are held in our "lodge room" (basement), 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Please feel free to attend any of these meetings.

    Special note: Plenty of room for RV parking (no hook-up available).
    • U.P.E.C. Supreme Council Official Visit to U.P.E.C. Council 100, Redlands. Saturday, January 12, 2002, Social starts 6:00 pm. Dinner 7:00 pm. Officers from the U.P.E.C. Supreme Council are to be the guests of honor.

    • I.D.E.S. Supreme Council Official Visit to I.D.E.S Council 152, Redlands.
      Might be possible in May 2005. Details later.
    • Festa Do Espirto Santo, This year 2004, the week end after Pentecost Sunday.
      The 86th annual festa, June 3rd ,4th, 2006.
    Saturday evening 06/03 2006, starting at 7:00 pm, with the transfer of the crown to the new queen for 2006, Gabrielle Fontes , from the 2005 queen, Jamie Rezendes. Followed by a procession and offering of breads, recitation of the Rosary, a light Portuguese meal, and concluded by a Social gathering.

    Sunday
    morning 06/04 2006, events begin at 11:00 am with a procession, mass, and crowning of the Queen at Sacred Heart Parish Church in Redlands, Queen Jamie Rezendes, Princesses, court and members in attendance.

    Followed by the festa at the Portuguese American Hall. Starting off at
    12:30 pm with the procession of the queen and the princesses, to place the crowns on the alter. Sopas served, starting at 1:00 pm ( pick up your colored seating tickets at the donation booth ), Refreshments, game booths, and activities Wonderful pieces of Sao Jorge cheese, wine and other like items will be auctioned throughout the afternoon. The raffle drawings will be held, starting after 2:00 pm. Tickets will be drawn periodically for some of the smaller prizes. The big prize drawing is again at 5:00 pm.

    Don't forget to make a generous donation for the food served, and buy lots of raffle tickets. Buy your raffle tickes early and win some of the other prizes available.


    (Any donated raffle prizes will be appreciated, drop them of at donation booth).
     
    Seating is limited outside the hall. It is recommended that you bring a chairs to sit in outside and any portable shade such as an Eazy-up. There is a nice breeze in the afternoon .

    • Festa de Fatima - October 15, 2004
      The 8th Annual Festa, Sunday October 15, 2004.

    Sunday starts about 12:00 noon.. Mass and Procession 2 pm at the P.A. Club, 1133 Crafton Ave, Mentone. Followed by meal. Auction and Social Events.
