A "mad, hot Ballroom" experience in Southern
California......
This exciting 55 minute journey through North and South America, the Caribbean, Africa, and
Vienna ranges bright Latin rhythms to classical waltzes performed with style and grace. The cultural origins of the dances
and infuences on it are highlighted, also. Numerous students and adults have delighted in this program through the ICAP Program
of Los Angeles Unified School District.

Adrienne Cherie and Jim Peace are both major players in the Dancesport
world as competitors in the American Rhythm category, ProAm division. Jim is a professional dancer who has taught Ballroom
dance for over 20 years, choreographer, vocalist and actor. His credits include musical theater and television
in addition to acting as a foot double for Raul Julia. Adrienne's wide array of accomplishments are covered
in this website. Adrienne,dancer since the age of 4 years old, also boasts movie and television credits. Most
recently she appeared as a Salsa dancer in the opening episode of the TV series Cane starring Jimmy Smits.This dynamic pair
provide visually enchanting and rhythmically stimulating renditions of today's most popular Ballroom dance styles.

Module 1: Acquiring Dance and Social Skills - includes instruction in social dances
