" ..  she was really a fine lady - lots of  fun. I remember when your dad and three or four other directors ( me included ) would meet at the house on Spaulding Ave. to study for promotional exams. Your mom used to greet us with a big laugh and a "not again" !!! (We met two or three years).  Somehow, with her patience and our good luck  we all made it and eventually became supervisors (with LA City Dept. of Rec and Parks)."
