Quartzsite, AZ ...
RV Club 1/29 - 1/30

On Saturday Jan 29th we left Phoenix to go to Quartzsite, AZ for the weekend. Quartzsite is definately something to be experienced. We tried taking a few pictures but it just doesn't work.

With not much else around, there's just RV after RV parked in the desert on both sides of I-10 for miles. When traveling west on I-10, you can see it for the 10 miles approaching the Quartzsite exits.

We walked through the RV Show which had booth after booth ...
- every RV accessory you could imagine ... dishes ... pots & pans ... solar systems ... brake systems ...
- RV Club registration for Camping World's Presidents Club, Good Sam, FMCA, Escapees, and others
- many different campground resorts and caravan groups

Then we went across the street and walked through even more booths ... these were gems, jewelry, clothing, antiques and more.

Saturday evening at Love's Truck Stop we met many RV Club members ... there were 20 of us. We didn't get to meet and talk to everyone individually so I can't name them all here ... but a few attendees were:

Bob & Fran Boston, Steve Fletcher & Fran Crawford, Sharon & Paul Cox, Sue & Ernie Shipley, Bill & Carol Patterson, Jayne Murray & Lou Schneider. We all went to the Chinese restaurant ... took over one corner ... and proceeded to have a wonderful evening of chatting.

On Sunday we drove the 2 hours back to Phoenix to our current resting spot.
