Lake Havasu City, AZ ...
RV Club 2/11 - 2/13

Friday afternoon, February 11th, we drove to Lake Havasu City, AZ for the RV Club Mini-GTG with Paul & Sharon Cox, Bill & Harriet Agee, Ron & Donna Wanchek, and Harry & Joan Bellerby.

  The Agee's and Cox's had sites facing the beach. We were right around the corner from them. These pictures were taken from the doorway of our motorhome. 
 

We arrived at Crazy Horse Campground after dinner and shared the campfire at Paul & Sharon's site with everyone. Paul is a great campfire builder!! We sat around and chatted for several hours while meeting everyone. There were other couples there who the Agee's and Cox's have met while staying at Crazy Horse.

Saturday we took an afternoon caravan adventure visiting unusual hot spots... first we stopped at the Desert Bar, then RoadRunners, and ended with Foxes.

Saturday evening we went to a local Mexican restaurant and then back to the campground for another campfire and more chatting.

Sunday morning we had a potluck brunch with eggs, potatoes, breakfast pizza, coffee cake, and champagne before we packed up and left to return to Phoenix.

It was a great, relaxing weekend away from Phoenix. We hope to meet up with these folks again in the near future.
