"What?" "I was just thinking about Mrs. Popadopalis in Stat," Amy groaned, and Bill chuckled in agreement. "I know, but I suddenly remembered what she said about how random sequences don't look random close up. I mean, you won't see a cop car for a week, and then there'll be three in one day. You know what I'm talking about?" Amy pondered. "Like squirrels. I haven't seen a squirrel in ages, but I doubt they've suddenly gone extinct." She glances at the trees. "Oh! Look, there's three of them, right there." The two giggled, then quieted as they noticed the squirrels staring directly at them. After a few seconds, they turned and scurried off from one branch to another, all in a line. "I thought squirrels were territorial," Amy said. Bill snickered, and switched to his movie narrator voice. "Colombia, Missouri was a town like any other. No one could have guessed that it would be the site of the... Squirrel Holocaust!"
