We are fortunate to own a circa 1900's "share croppers cabin" in Henry County VA. Very secluded. We control access as we are the only ones on a deadend private road which follows an oak ridge to our property. We are one mile to the nearest trout holding sections of the Smith. Five miles to the Special Regulations section. The place has been modernized over the years. Our research indicates that several generations were born, lived and died here. It is rustic but livable year round. I usually overnight here when I am fishing the Smith River or other nearby trout streams. It beats an early morning drive to be on the water at daybreak or a late drive home after an evening of "matching the hatch". We are not set up as a motel or bed and breakfast but if you talk with me about your needs we can probably arrive at an agreement to put you up while you fish with us. If we can't meet your needs we can recommend several nearby motels.
