A portable electric heater is provided, but the heater on the outer wall is just a “decoration” so don’t
bother turning it on.

Utilities and Safety
The master electrical box (circuit breakers)
is in the kitchen. Spare fuses are in the “junk drawer” directly
below the box. A fire extinguisher is installed on the wall of the closet in the bathroom. The
lighter for starting the fireplace and/or gas grill is stored above the kitchen sink (out of children’s reach). A nightlight is on the wall near the dining room table.
Other Important Information
NO PETS and NO SMOKING!
“Beach blankets”
are stored in a clearly marked plastic container in the “Seaside Escape” bedroom closet. Please do not use any of the other bedding at the beach or outside.
Each side of the duplex has its own gas grill and picnic table in the back yard for outdoor dining. Do not burn charcoal in the gas grill because it will ruin the grill.
A plastic tablecloth for the picnic table and grilling utensils are stored in the kitchen.
To protect the septic system, do not flush tampons, “disposable” tampon applicators, or feminine napkins
down the toilet. Do not dispose of cooking grease in the kitchen sink. Please wash any beach sand off in the outdoor shower before using the indoor
shower/tub.
The dining room tabletop will crack if exposed to extreme heat so do not
place hot items directly on the glass tabletop. Please place pot holders under
any hot items on the dining table.
Please do not leave portable electric
heaters running unattended.
The power cord to the radio that is on the fridge easily pulls
out of the wall outlet; and that outlet is difficult to access behind the fridge. So
please do not remove the radio from the top of the fridge.
