Here are some links to other sites that I have found interesting or helpful:

fordlogo.gif

This may be your best starting point for information on old tractors. Search the archives and general information areas. If your answer is not there, or you can't find it, you will find a great group of tractor people in the discussion boards ready to help you.

Yesterday's Tractors

This is also a great site for parts and information! take time to explore the many areas on this site to find an incredible amount of information.

Just 8N's

Parts supply second to none! May be partially due to the location being close to Virginia, but every parts order placed from this site has always arrived at my door within two business days from the moment I placed the order. Even on a holiday weekend! You just can't do service any better than they are doing it.

The Smiths' 8N Ford Tractor Page

This is another first class site for general information, tractor identification, and information for collectors. If you think that strange whatsit you have might be worth something, check here.

Zane Thang

Here is a link to Zane's page if you want to add position control to your 9N or 2N tractor.

SSB Tractor

This is a great site if you are looking for Tractor parts and tractor manuals for Case IH, Caterpillar, Ford, International, Farmall, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, and other farm tractors.

My Old Fords

This is another very good site for general information, Step-by-step instructions, and his wiring diagrams are very good. The link may be blown for this one, it seems to move around a lot, but a web search should find it.

Dennis-Carpenter.com

Ford Restoration and Reproduction parts. This is the largest selection and best quality parts source I have found for those hard-to-find items. You will find Dennis Carpenter parts in many other suppliers inventory. Download their PDF catalog or order a printed copy if you are on a dial-up connection.

The Tractor Shack

Wilson Tractor Online Parts Source, another good one.

Windy Ridge Farm and Machine

Custom Machining, Tools, and Fabrication - Dan Allen (a.k.a. TheOldHokie) If you are looking for more expert advice, this is a good place to look.

Marvin Baumann's 8N Website

A great website with lots of information, incredible restorations, and custom V8 conversions. You will even find a jet engine conversion here!

Dan & Angela DeGroot - 8N Acres

Lots of great 8N tractor restoration photos.

Tucker's Tire Company - Dyersburg, TN

This is where I bought all of my new tractor tires. They arrived already mounted on new rims and ready to go for less money than I could buy tires, tubes, and pay for mounting on the old rims!

N-Complete

Antique Ford 2N, 8N, 9N Tractor Parts Get a copy of their catalog. It's full of great information photos and great quality parts. They will even sell you a complete restored tractor or restore your tractor for you!

Phil's Tractor & Supply, Inc

Another great Source for parts and information. Fast service too!

Surplus Center

Go on-line to get great deals on surplus hydraulic parts and supplies.

NorthernTool.com

An old standby with a great product line, but I have had only limited success at their retail store in this area. Also, some on-line orders took an incredibly long time to arrive, even when the merchandise was in-stock.

OnlineMetals.com - Small Quantities Specialist Metal Sheet, plate, pipe, and structural shapes delivered to your door! You can't beat the convenience!

KPX Tractors

KPX Tractors manufactures an interesting backhoe attachment and wood chipper.

If you are not into build-it-yourself implements, this looks like a great place to start.
