There is the old joke where the man asks the taxicab
driver, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall?" The taxicab driver
replies, "It's easy. You practice, practice, practice!"
Well, practicing is what it takes to learn the
piano, too, super students!!! Practicing comes along with the
piano-playing territory, but practicing is a FUN activity! You need
to practice on a regular basis to be a successful
piano student. Imagine if a basketball player never practiced
tossing the ball through the hoop, or a baseball player never practiced
swinging the bat to hit the ball! They'd never improve, that is if
they ever learned to be successful to begin with! You have to
practice any activity regularly to be good at it. And that goes for
PIANO!
Your goal should be to get to the piano SOMETIME
during the day, preferably around the same time each day so that you have a
routine to keep you at it consistently! Your practice time should be
free of distractions and kept JUST for YOU and YOUR PIANO TIME!!! You want
it to become a habit!

practice. You will find some great information to help you get the
most out of your practice time!
