Edna Holland Mory
holds the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Instructional Systems and Master of Music Education (M.M.E.) with Advanced Piano Pedagogy Certification from Florida State University, and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Music Education from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. She has worked as a university professor, public school music teacher, an independent piano instructor, and church pianist.  During the years of 1992 through 2005, Dr. Mory taught Instructional Technology as Assistant and Associate Professor in the Donald R. Watson School of Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

At present, Dr. Mory teaches piano at her independent studio, "88 Keys Piano Studio."  She also sings in the Cape Fear Chorale -- a professional quality choral group in the Wilmington, North Carolina area -- and sings and plays in the Grace Chancel Choir and Grace Ringers handbell choir at Grace United Methodist Church.  Dr. Mory is a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). She has served on the Board of the Cape Fear Music Teachers Association (CFMTA) for several years and is currently the Webmaster of their website.

Dr. Mory is also a composer of numerous pieces of original choral, vocal, and piano works which may be accessed by visiting her Score Exchange website link. Her SATB choral work, "Think on These Things," was recently the winner of the Glad Robinson Youse Adult Composers Contest sponsored by the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC).
