The seven days of dwelling in tabernacles (tents) leads us to the Last Great Day, "The Eighth Day" of the feast of Tabernacles.
As Tabernacles represents our life's journey in our weak mortal bodies (temporary tents), entering into Yahshua's (Jesus') eighth day brings us into His state of glory in the Resurrection of His saints as they enter His house in the perfect fullness of the Kingdom of God. Eight is the number of Resurrection and the start of a new week (age) for the believing saints of God Almighty. Our mortal bodies now see the redemption into immortality by the promise of His Living Word. (Romans 8:23; 2 Corinthians 5:2; 1 Peter 1:7; Philippians 3:21) Thus on "day eight" following seven days of Tabernacles, we enter into the comfort of our solid homes for an assembled Sabbath gathering which symbolizes the permanent dwelling place we have with our King.
