And God made the two great luminaries: the great luminary to rule the day, and the small luminary and the stars to rule the night. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens, to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night; and to divide between the light and the darkness. Here's how to read our online version of the solar calendar

• Days appearing in the first column of the calendar are always a Sabbath.
• YHVH's Sacred Calendar days begin with a period of darkness followed by a period of light, as described in Genesis chapter 1 six times (verses: 5, 8, 13, 19, 23, & 31) and as shown on the calendar by the dark/black bar and the light/white bar. For example: On day number one of Month One (Abib) the Sabbath runs from just after sundown March 20th until just after sundown of March 21st (compare Lev 23:32). Man's non-biblical day begins and ends at midnight, which is depicted on the calendar by the vertical line directly under, and in the middle of, the dark/black bar.
• The moon is not a luminary, i.e. a luminous glowing object like the sun. It is a reflector, and frequently can be seen during the daytime. It neither rules the day exclusively, nor rules the night exclusively, and was an object of worship in ancient Babylon. Not being a luminary, the moon therefore has nothing to do with the determination of signs, seasons, days, or years according to YHVH's word.
