made some progress during feb 08...

The engine is being built by Fitzgerald's Automotive in Beacon Falls CT. This is the same place that built the engine for my red 65 GTO. It will be a stroked 455 Pontiac with #16 race ported heads by Butler Racing in Tenn and a custom grind .645 lift roller cam. It'll be kept in place using a front engine plate instead of motor mounts. The trans will be a reverse pattern T-400 racing transmission utilizing a 4800 rpm stall converter and a trans brake. Wheelie time!
