As most of you who know me recall, I've been writing for a long, long time. Much of it turned out to be crap, but in 1996 I had my first story published in a little rag called "Lost Worlds". And here I am, still stumbling along.

In the past ten years I've had 29 stories & 1 non-fiction article published. Unfortunately, with the advent of family & the multiplying forces of my hobbies, my writing time has diminished, & for the first time since 1995, I didn't sell a story in 2006 (although a couple I'd sold in 2005 appeared).

Recent Publications

My most recent story appeared in the October 2007 issue of Jupiter magazine, a tale entitled "The Halo Effect" that I've always been very fond of. You can find a copy of the most recent issue of Jupiter by following the link below.

Following is the link to Carnifex Press: Clash of Steel 3: Demon. "The Usual Stakes" appears in the anthology, which was released in September 2006. It's my first story appearing in an anthology. It's also the first time I've seen my name on Amazon.com, which can't be bad.

Here's a story from Glyph, a now-deceased fantasy magazine that published for several years. This one is especially dear to me as the cover art is a rendition of the opening scene of my story, "Appearances"

Last but not least a plug for my favorite magazine, The Boundary Waters Journal. My first non-fiction article, "The Best Laid Plans" appeared in the Fall 2006 issue.
