Since we didn't know what the road conditions would really
be like in the Yukon Territory or Alaska, we 'winged it' for most of the driving portion of this trip -- very few advance
hotel reservations. We also didn't know how much time we would spend sightseeing. The only certainties were when
we would be in Bellingham, Juneau and Skagway since we were committed to meeting ferries at these locations. The
following was our very tentative itinerary which turned out to be pretty close to the actual itinerary:
