My user name comes from the song, "hallogallo" off of the 1972 self-titled album
by the legendary 'Krautrock'

I am a Graphic Designer for the College of Engineering at NC State University. I received a BA in Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) in 1980.
Sheri is a Facilities Planner for the Wake County Public School system. She received a BA in Art and Home Economics from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC in 1980.
Sheri and I met in High School 28 years ago in Raleigh, North Carolina and have been going strong ever since.
Madeleine is a five-year-old Boston Terrier. She is a spoiled-rotten crazy dog hoping to get her own web site, some day.

| Skiing |
We have been skiing since college. Our first trip was 3
buses of UNC students to Killington, Vermont during 1978 Christmas
break. Our journey began with a 35-gallon trash can of 'PJ' in the
aisle that was empty before we hit Virginia. Twelve short hours later,
we arrived at the Bardwell, a giant bunkhouse in Rutland. It was pouring
rain. We were hooked!
Now, we fly to the resort and stay within walking distance to the lifts.
We take a 'major' trip out west every year and try to supplement that with some long weekends to nearby resorts. Our first western trip was to Breckenridge in 1986 and we branched out from there. We have a casual list of destinations that we are working on, but we keep returning to Crested Butte and Telluride.

British Columbia. Stunning in every way! My personal favorite.
Telluride, Colorado. Great skiing, magnificent scenery. My personal second favorite.
Crested Butte, Colorado. Will definitely kick your arse if you're not careful! Very close third favorite.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Taos, New Mexico. Food to make you slap your Grandma.
Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge,
Copper Mountain and Keystone;
Summit County, Colorado.
Vail, Colorado.
Steamboat, Colorado.
Killington, Vermont.
Mount Snow, Vermont.
Wintergreen, Virginia. Very nice for Southeastern skiing!
