OSCER/Vox Domini Mission to Moldova
On April 9-11 80 Moldovan students together with 20 of us from Romania came together for and evangelistic camp at Solobozia
Dusca, just outside of Chisinau. The following are some impressions of the OSCER students and staff who were part of the
team!!
"I left with many expectations and God fulfilled them all. Even more, God gave me the opportunity to talk with students
about Him and His love. I think that the conference was a success both organizationally and spiritually." --Sergiu
"I learned that God works at a deeper level, than I imagined, in putting all things together. When we live out the Biblical
principals of blessing others as we have been blessed, then we are in God's will."--Andrei
"I saw that I was helped more than I helped others. I was encouraged to see though, how people where helped by learning
from my experiences. There where many things that we discussed in our small group that I had not thought much about before,
and it was great how we could find responses together to these questions. God worked in me during this whole conference.
I know that God touched hearts, and that the seeds that we scattered now remain to bring forth fruit!"--Raluca
Thank you for your prayers for this event!
European Evangelism Conference Linz 2008 (March 2008)

Here are some impressions from students who attended the conference!!
Gabi Bucur:
God used this conference to make me more conscious of the calling He has given to us to fulfill the Great Commission. There
was a testimony from some Turkish students where God reminded me of the importance of taking the gospel even into areas that
are hostile to the Gospel. Another thing that I re-experienced was that even though we are from different cultures, we are
all God's children with the same values and principles to bring glory to God beyond any cultural barrier. God used this conference
to show me how important it is to pray for Europe. I think God will work in a special way through the students in Europe.
Raluca Radu
This conference surpassed all my expectations. God showed me how gracious He is with His children. I learned that evangelism
is not just one thing on my to do list that I check off, but that it is God's desire that all be saved. The fact that God
loved me so much that he saved me. This should be the only reason that I would want those around me to know Him. I will
never forget this experience and how God put on my heart the desire to work for Him in the place that he has put me. For
me the most memorable moment of the conference was the opening when the hall filled up. And even though I was worn out and
tired, I was raised up and praised God together with 2200 other believers. It was just a taste of what it will be like in
heaven, and it made me want be there forever praising Him.
Iosif Baleanu
What I learned during this conference was about the way I should relate with non-believers around me. In the end the decision
of accepting or rejecting the message is not dependent on me. I am just to tell the gospel to other no matter how sinful
I would think that they are, because God loves all sinful people. If God has a plan with that person it doesn't matter about
the prejudices that I have, God will work.
Ramona Cojocaru
I was in the seminar on theater, and I think that for me this was the best thing of the conference. I learned that I can
praise God through theater and I want to tell this to others. Upon returning home I talked with some students in the first
year and we began a theater team. We are just at the beginning, but I am happy that my desires to do something like this
are finally coming about!
1) Leadership Crises & OSCEB Local Retreat (Dec. 2007)
In OSCER this fall we have been going through a bit of a leadership crises. We had a change in our national director. Catalin,
stepped down and Alex, has begun as the national director. As well we are enlarging our national leadership team. Pray for
God's direction in this and that students would hear God's call to work with the student movement both as a student and as
staff. Thanks.
In Bucuresti, we have had lots of new students join the group. Due to circumstances we have had to change our meeting
location and the day of the week we meet. On 13 Dec. we will have our annual Christmas meeting, where the students will be
inviting their friends. In the next two weeks most of the groups will be having these types of meetings with carols, games
and a message about the true meaning of Christmas. Pray that students would invite their friends and that the message would
cause them to think anew about Christmas and what it means. Christmas is still a holiday full of religious meaning here in
Romania, but it has to move from knowledge of God incarnate to God wanting to have a relationship with us.
We have also been excited to see new students getting involved in OSCEB. We have started to open up our home every other
Friday night for Pizza and Fellowship. This has been a good time of informal fellowship and relationship building. As well
a few weekends ago we had a local training camp for the students in Bucuresti. It was originally scheduled to be Thurs- Sunday.
As the date approached only 10 students had signed up. Upon talking to others not going, the leadership team saw that by
starting on Friday night more students would come and as a result of the change 40 students came! (see pictures in the photo
section) We talked about some basis of the Christian life like prayer, the Bible and living your life as a missionary. It
was a great time and God used the talks in the lives of many of the students to challenge them and cause them to think more
deeply about their relationship with Him.
