Brit is a 1967 Mk2 that is in the later stages of restoration. She has come a long way in the last
year, and is shaping up quite nicely.
UPDATES
7/10/2005 update - Engine has been rebuilt and installed.
7/15/2005 update - Radiator and cooling system is flushed, radiator repainted and every hose, gasket and related clamp
replaced. I have never seen such brown coolant.
7/21/2005 update - Firewall stripped, repainted. No rust exists anymore.
7/24/2005 update - New clutch and master/slave cylinders are in and as firm as a ripe melon. The fluid in the master
cylinder fell out, not pour out. I think it was the original fluid!
8/15/2005 update - Dash has been rebuilt and rewired - My birthday is the 31st and I plan to have her started
by that day!
8/31/2005 update - Just finished rebuilding the carbs and reinstalled them. She fired up on the second crank and
she is now sync'd and ready to fly!
9/7/2005 update - Brakes are all new. I can stop now!
915/2005 update - New Muffler system. Sounds great!
10/2/2005 update - Trunk stripped, painted and carpeted.
12/31/2005 update - Recarpeted interior.
