Welcome to Gypsy Wind SCUBA Adventures, LLC!
Gypsy Wind SCUBA Adventures is about STRESS FREE dive instruction and group dive travel to exotic dive locations.
With Gypsy Wind SCUBA, diving is not intimidating, or too much work--it's fun--it's what diving is supposed to be.
Our instruction is ALL private lessons or very, very small "affinity" groups (like couples, or a family), and we
especially cater to people that have had a few "zero" birthdays. A few years ago, our instructor,
Mike celebrated his fifth "zero" birthday, and we celebrated with him on a dive trip to Roatan, Honduras.
Although we love warm water and plan several trips per year to the beautiful, tropical coral reefs around the
world, we dive regularly at Catalina Island, which is a short boat ride from Los Angeles/Long Beach, California.
The water may be cold, but diving at Catalina is truly beautiful.
Open Water Certifications can be done locally, with certification dives made in So. California, or during one of our
warm water trips.
Had your Open Water Certification for a while, but haven't dived much since then? Take your Advanced Open Water
training while on vacation--in warm water! It's a wonderful take-away from a week's vacation, and Mike is an expert
in integrating this accomplishment with your holiday so you can gain the experience and confidence of the Advanced
Diver while still enjoying your dive vacation!
More advanced courses through Divemaster level are available on a customized basis, all on enquiry.

Mike is a very patient instructor who appreciates that "Dive Shop" classes do not work for everyone. This is what
private instruction is all about.
Mike especially enjoys teaching diving to those whose spouses have enjoyed the diving experience, and now would
like to join in the fun for themselves.
Planning trips and SCUBA adventures is what Barbie loves to do. She takes care of all the details so our trips
to far away, warm water destinations are easy and fun. Don't know how much to tip the divemaster? What should
I bring? Am I getting a good vacation value? Barbie has the answers!

(This trip is now sold out (we are 17!) but the resort offered us one
more room which they usually keep in reserve for emergencies. It is actually a really nice room, fitted with a King
bed, and available at the same double occupancy price. This room is just steps from the water's edge and over-water
sundeck, but has no "private" porch of its own. Call right away if interested!)
