Made entirely of Churro wool and all natural dyes

THE THREE ARCHANGELS
Winner of the Archbishop's award at the 1997 Spanish Market.
Completed on June 8th, 1997
Measures 29.5"L x 58.5"W with all natural dyes
This was Kathleen's 45th colcha embroidery

VERONICA'S VEIL
This bulto was carved by Don Leon Sandavol in a colaborative effort with Kathleen for the 1998 Summer Spanish Market. The piece actually has two colcha embroideries. One for the carpet that she stands on and the other is the veil of Christ that she is holding. They won the colaborative effort award in 1998.
The face of Christ measures 6"w x 7.5"l and the carpet is shaped like a cross and measures 13.25" x 14.25".
Persian wool with all natural dyes.

SAN ISIDRO
Winner of the 1998 New Mexico State Fair. Purchased by the judges before the show opened.
This piece was inspired by a dream and was a very spiritual piece. The patron saint of farmers was finished on August 8th, 1996 and measures 25.5"w x 24"l. It is made with persian wool and all natural dyes.
Titled OUR LADY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION she is made entirely from natural dyes on 100% Persian wool. Our Lady is Colcha. She is soft, pretty and made from the colonial New Mexican colcha embroidery stitch.
The Our Lady above has been acquired by the Taylor Museum in Colorado.

MANGER SCENE
This piece has the most faces of all of Kathleen's colcha embroideries. Here is a unique view of the manger scene from the inside looking out.
Christmas cards were made from this colcha and some are still available.

This was Kathleen's 43rd colcha embroidery

CRISTO CRUCIFICADO
This piece was part of "The Masters of New Mexico" exhibit in March of 1997. The black was made from fermented logwood and was interesting because, the angle determined its color of dark purple, black or dark dusty brown.

This was Kathleen's 42nd colcha embroidery
Michael's Favorite
This colcha embroidery belongs to Michael (our son)
and is almost 3.5 ft by 4ft and was made in 1997.
