These numbers represent the total number of formal National Traffic System messages reported received and sent using digital modes by the amateur radio operators in the Central Area during the month. A number of operators do not regularly report their activity. These are RF only and do not reflect any messages transferred over the Internet.
From March 2007 to May 2007, the Eastern, Central, and Pacific Areas reported 18,451 to 21,164 total messages received and sent each month over RF.
