Welcome, my name is Zoo.
This site highlights my Tribe of critters, my hobbies (gardening) and
some of my favorite comic strips.
The Tribe and I reside in Central Florida. Someday I hope
to escape.
I'm an animal person and at one time or another have owned or been
exposed to pretty much anything you could have as a pet. Currently the critter
list is composed of the smaller house-pets vs the larger domestic livestock type animal. At this time it includes my
pet fancy rats, cats, Black-tailed prairie dogs and just recently some rescue guinea pigs. It's not that I wouldn't
love a few large domestic animals hanging around - but circumstances and housing limit that possibility.
Since my last update of the site, I have had quite a few of
my older rats pass on and gained 7 rescue guinea pigs, of which several are available for adoption.

Life in the barn was very good-night
and day, winter and summer, spring and fall, dull days and bright days. It was the best place to be, thought Wilbur, this
warm delicious cellar, with the garrulous geese, the changing seasons, the nearness of rats, the sameness of sheep, the love
of spiders, the smell of manure, and the glory of everything.
