Interior Working Altar in the East
This general-purpose altar/worktable is in the lower room of the temple, where is also located the library/meeting-room. The yellow curtains signify the direction as East; Red, Blue, and Green curtains (out of view) mark the other walls. Just out of the photo to the left are many shelves containing jars and boxes filled with herbs, ointments, and incenses. Shelves lining the West wall are filled with dozens of cups, bowls, and cauldrons of brass, pewter, iron, silver and glass. Some tools can be seen from the main tour page.
