THERMOS GREENWOOD HALLOWEEN ORGY - October 27th, 2007
ATLANTA – September 1, 2007 -- Thermos Greenwood, the band that has rocked Atlanta for decades, is at it again.
These PEOPLE think that they can just march onto any old stage any old Halloween
time they want, and put on a completely insane, irreverent show, which is always an embarrassment to this community, and then
get away with it.
This time they are staging the show on October 27th, 2007 at "Club29" (formerly
Jake’s Toadhouse) located at 2272 Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur 30033. (It’s very close to the off ramp from
Hwy. 78 & N. Druid Hills Rd.) The Music starts at 8:30 PM. Thermos will provide an early show and a late show.
It’s a costume affair so dress weird and wear dancing shoes.
Tommy Dean, musician extraordinaire, of the "League of Decency" who only in private will admit to being
related to his green complected evil twin, "Thermos Greenwood", is asking Atlantans to come out en masse to witness and
document the humiliation. "We want people to spread the truth". Dean says, "We don’t want people in the rest of the
world to think these Nut Bags are considered NORMAL around here!"
The entire group, made up of former mental patients, day workers and escapees from art prison camp,
have been known to disguise themselves by painting their skin different colors as they sing harmony and create unusual
sounds with electric instruments and percussion. Recent shows have been packed with people who came from all over the Universe
to see these mutants.
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to HAVE FUN ! The show is dedicated to the many friends
and fans of the group without whom there would be no show. This year’s production will showcase the Thermos Greenwood
band playing their original music in two seperate shows. Everyone is invited to stay for both sets. Tickets for both shows are planned to be cheap and can be purchased in Advance or
at the Door. We want everyone to have FUN! No one will be turned away due to inability to pay unless the place is too packed.
The club can accept most major credit cards.
If you wish to come early and enjoy a meal you are in for a treat. The new chef, RAY ALLEN, originally from NEW ORLEANS
has taken up residence here in Atlanta and provides sumptuous meals (affordably priced) on site at CLUB29. Ray's Grandfather
was the original chef at Brennen's in the French Quarter. Try Ray's authentic Cagin specialties.
WARNING: Please understand that the Thermos Greenwood show is a presentation
involving Living Freaks, likely of extraterrestrial origin. Unusual quite, or lack of a costumed audience could upset or otherwise
promote unusual behavior among the creatures, especially the WHITE ONE!

We are a global and transdisciplinary network and fellowship of freaks and musicians, both researchers
and practitioners, dedicated to sharing in cycles of humiliation throughout the world.
We believe that by sharing in these cycles and laughing at each other, a space is opened for mutual
respect and esteem to take root and grow, thereby leading to the resolution of previously intractable conflicts. We believe
that sustainability of social cohesion and ecological survival require a mindset of cooperation and a spirit of shared humiliation.
As researchers we study the dynamics of humiliation, the antecedents and consequences of humiliating
behaviors, and interventions that can help to evenly spread the cycles of humiliation and restore a peaceful human dignity.
As practitioners we attempt to bring incidents of humiliation in international affairs to the attention of people across the
globe, to create public awareness of the effects of such humiliation, and to promote ways of dealing with tensions in human
affairs that generate an attitude based upon not taking one’s self too seriously.
