About Tortuga Music

Tortuga Music is proud to celebrate its 1998 launching as a new label with this sampling of works by John Bockelman and Colin Kennedy. Throughout 1998 and 1999, material from the Tortuga Archives will be remastered for limited release on Compact Disc.

Preservation of vintage material by its artists (including many tracks never before heard) is the primary function of Tortuga Music. During its first few years, Tortuga will purposely limit the number of copies for each release. This practice is expected to heighten demand for the material while making each disc a valuable item to collectors. (In other words, you are holding a rare gem.) We hope you enjoy your peek inside our vaults with this, the first Tortuga Sampler!
