Trikes with blades. This is Frostbite, an entry from Grove City College in Pennsylvania, ridden by Nathan Weiderspahn. Ice conditions favored wheels over blades this year, so the bladed vehicles posted poorer speeds than usual. This one came in 19th in the sprint. |

Thor, a winning entry from 2003's St. Thomas Academy
Experimental Vehicle Team entered for its third year. The
unfavorable ice conditions kept it to 6th place in the sprint and 5th
place in the drag race. |
