Reminder: Begin putting items aside for our Church
Rummage Sale to be held on May 24. May 8 - Insurmountable Odds: Immigration in Missouri, 11:30-1:00 p.m. at Columbia Public Library, 100 W. Broadway, (Room A). Panel discussion on immigration hosted by the Missouri Association for Social Welfare and the Social Concerns Office of the Diocese of JC. No cost to attend. Open to the public. May 8 - Art Committee meeting to select next exhibit, 6:30 p.m. You need not be a member of the committee to participate. Contact Barbara Skidmore. May 8 - UU Women & Friends group, 7:00 p.m. May 9 - Off-the-Budget Social Hour, 5:00 p.m. May 11 - Forum: City or Country Living?, 9:15 a.m. May 11 - Youth Religious Education: How Our Special Tree has Changed, 10:30 a.m. May 11 - Service: Mother's Peace Day, Katherine Connor & Scott Greenplate, 10:30 a.m. May 18 - Annual Membership Meeting, 10:45 a.m. May 22 & 23 - Set up for upcoming Rummage sale. May 23 - Off the budget Social Hour, 5 p.m. May 24 - UUFJC Rummage Sale, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers needed for many tasks. Contact Pat Goetz for information. May 29-31 & June 6 & 7 - When You Coming Back Red Ryder?, 7:30 p.m., presented by Scene One located below Carrie's Hallmark on High St. June 20 - JC Multicultural Forum's Community Dinner & Fundraiser, Eagles Lodge.
