My Latest Rant!

Here you will find my ravings concerning the film industry, actors, and theater owners. Mostly the greedy theater owners I think.

Here is my rant for the Oscars. As you may have noticed I thought Chicago was about one of the worst movies I have ever seen. There was no acting in this film and yet it received Oscars for best supporting actress. The fact is that the Oscars is very much like a high school election. No votes cast for merit only those for popularity. My assumption is that Oscars are to reward performances for there merit, silly me. Catherine Zeta-Jones couldn't dance but she is the close personal friend and wife of Hollywood mogul Michael Douglas. The fact is that I could have done that part better, although my legs aren't as long and good looking.
The Tony's are for stage productions and that is where the should remain. Plays are for stages, not for the screen. Just because a lot of big name actors signed on for this production does not mean it is any good, that is the problem with popularity, it has no criteria other than:
"You like me! You really like me!"

Thank you Sally Field for the only speech that should be made at the Oscars!
