WHO WAS TURNER ANYWAY?

The reenactors of the Missouri Medical Corps present impressions of a field hospital.

The Corps is now recruiting for:

GENERAL SURGEONS, WITH THE RANK OF CAPTAIN

Duties include assisting the Head Surgeon in setting up and running the field hospital, tending to the wounded, performing surgical procedures in the field and at temporary field hospitals under adverse conditions. Giving on-site demonstrations to curious onlookers and putting up with the nursing staff.

Benefits: You get to be a captain and work long, hard hours in the worst hospital facilities available.

STEWARDS, WITH THE RANK OF SERGEANT

Duties include being the muscle in setting up the field hospitals, tending to the wounded on the battlefield, providing water, comfort, bandaging, and carrying off the field to the field hospital. Also includes assisting the surgeons and nurses in surgery and demonstrations. Must also put up with the nursing staff.

Benefits: The same as captain without the rank.
