TRANQUILITY BASE

Tranquility Base is a site dedicated to collage in all its forms and consists of collages by Robert Magginetti and links to the web sites of other collage artists. The linked sies are selected to show the wide range of approaches to collage used by artists from around the world; approaches both personal and stylistic. Viewers are encouraged to submit web sites for possible inclusion in this site.

EMPTY WHEN FULL
EMPTY WHEN FULL is a series of collages created in late 2001 which combine natural wonders with American culture. A coolage inspired poem is included at the bottom of each page.

ANCIENT MARINER SERIES
The ANCIENT MARINER consists of collages made in 2003 using woodcuts by Gustave Dore, from the book "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner" (Cooleridge 1880s).

TRAVEL SERIES
The TRAVEL SERIES is a series of collages created in 2002 combining scenes from "Picturesque America" with other late 19th century woodcuts to create scenes of horror and wonder.
