Here is a little information on R4R.
All Pit-Trays, Insert Trays, Display Cases and Pick-up Shoe Sanders are hand
made by me. All the sides and dividers are solid wood, no cheap plywood, laminates, or fiberboard in my products.
The Pit-Tray bottoms are high quality birch plywood. The Pit-Trays and Display Cases are made much like an expensive
Jewelry Box. Every joint is glued, I don't use a single nail, tack, staple or screw, as no respectable cabinet or box
maker would. Also not a single Butt Joint, I use a combination of Rabbet and Dados joints through out
each piece. All products are finished with a Watco Oil finish, with a minimum of 3 coats, and are wet, oil sanded for
a very smooth finish.

History
Racer for Racer (R4R) has been
building Slot Car products since 2005 after others wanted custom built Pit-Trays once I showed up at local T-Jet races with a
Pit-Tray built for my use. I build my 1st multi-layer box over 35 years ago, and I still am using it.
