Battle photographs are hard to do. You're involved in the action, trying to follow orders, and above all, be
safe. Photographs on these pages are illustrations of what reenacting is like,
but there's much more than can
be adequately expressed, such as the 'thrill of battle' the agony of your
feet, smoke, dust, confusion, shouts, bangs,
booms, thuds, and such. In short, what battle is like. It is fun, and like
nothing else you'll likely experience.
