Pictures of Quasar, Peanut, Hershey, and Nestle

This is one of the pictures taken during Quasars last year of her life.  She was born 2/26/95, and lived a glorious life until 3/7/02.  She was probably my favorite cat ever, and really was my little buddy.  See how she used to ride on my shoulder.  Quasar was taken on 3/7/02 early in the morning by what I have concluded to be a wild dog.  We spent weeks looking for her.  At first we thought the coyotees got her until, a few mornings later I baited what appeared to be a wolf, which was stalking the house.  I shot at it with my BB gun, missed, but scared the S out of it, and never saw it again.  I cannot dismiss the possibility of a mountain lion attack, because news articles during that time reported sightings in our area.  Eventhough we do get coyottees, I don't think that is what happened because it was too clean and sudden.  In any event, I still think of Quasar, and miss her.

NEXT CAME PEANUT AND HERSHEY

  Hershey
Although not related, they became best friends immediately.  Peanut, probably the cutest kitten I've ever had is smart as can be, and likes water. She has her own pool she goes in. Hershey,(the white cat with brownish points), unfortunately had a very short life.  Only four years.  She had health problems from the start, came down with cancer, and we put her to rest before she knew anything was seriously wrong.  She is missed.  What I miss about her the most is that she was my biggest fan.  Whenever I played guitar, she would come running, and would sit right next to my guitar amplifier.  Especially when I played the jazz standard Emily or Over the Rainbow.   Hershey and Quasar are now playing Over The Rainbow together.

NOW, THERE IS PEANUT AND NESTLE

Peanut was very depressed after the passing of Hershey.  It was obvious.  Not eating much, continuously looking...  Around a month later, we got Nestle.  At first, Peanut didn't accept her, but now, as you can see, they are getting along pretty good.  Peanut pretends not to like her, but, she is always coming in to look for her..

I'll post more picture soon.
