Developing Your Intuition with the Tarot

Patrice's background: In 1987, a friend showed me the Tarot cards and did a reading for me. I was so impressed with depth of the information as well as intrigued by the art and symbols printed on the cards, I bought myself the Thoth Tarot Deck of Aleister Crowley. I began to play with the cards and study the accompanying text. In November 1993, my life changed completely. For seven days I came face to face with my fear of abandonment. In each moment of every day, I had to let go of all of my attachments. By the seventh day, the energy had shifted and I felt like a completely new person -- an intense rebirth. I began to consult the Tarot deck daily for guidance and support as I started over. It opened my mind and expanded my perspective greatly. I became interested in exploring how my birth date related to the twenty-two cards of the Major Arcana. In other words, did my birth date correspond to a number in the deck and a specific card? I found that my birth date corresponded to 22 -- The Fool. I studied the meaning of the Fool card, found it interesting and relevant and began to share this exercise with friends.

Since 1994, I have been working with these components, only to discover more and more levels within the simple structure. With each day I discovered that I had to commit myself to be true to myself and to the knowledge I was receiving. I have to “practice what I preach,” or “walk my talk.” I have used the information for myself and offered the information to others.

This course on the Tarot introduces a personal approach to working with the ancient symbols. As you work with your own Tarot deck understanding the symbols holding significance for you, you enter into a conscious relationship to your soul as teacher. I offer my knowledge to you, with the intention that the information be for each person’s highest and greatest good.

My goal is to provide you with tools to help you see and hear differently -- to expand and open your awareness of how the Cosmos works within us as we live on the Earth. Our bodies and our experiences are our vehicle for our soul’s evolution. When consciousness is married to useful knowledge, everything is possible. May you use this awareness to help you grow and create the life you want.

In the Tarot Class,

* Refine intuitive and verbal communication skills

* Make desired changes in your life

2. Define goals in your life and make progress in reaching them.

3. Learn to use the Tarot to help address your doubts, fears, blocks and issues.

Tarot Class Testimonials

Time frame: 2 months minimum commitment. Additional classes, months and/or extended classes can be arranged. We begin working together as soon as our schedules coordinate.

Sessions: One hour per week on the phone with Patrice for eight weeks or one hour per week with me at our home.
