Hungry? Yes? Obviously you didn't go with us to Oysterfest on Saturday,
Oct. 7. Those of us who ventured to Shelton probably won't have to eat
for the rest of the month. Sunny warm, weather, seafood of all kinds,
oysters prepared a gazillion ways, some great bands, a beer tent with
more options than you could drink, the chance to taste some terrific
Washington wines, and the Western National Oyster Shucking Competition
were all part of the fun. Susan Becklund even brought the Houstonian
and the Aussie she was responsible for entertaining on business.
And the trivia question of the year is - -
Just how many shucked oysters did Joel Carlson eat? After each heat of
the competition, they GAVE them away!.and that boy sure knew how to get
