Sinningia leucotricha

Sinningia leucotricha has unquestionably the best foliage of any sinningia.  The silvery hairs cover the young leaves.  As the leaves expand, the hair density decreases, so the effect is not quite as dramatic.

The tuber is a typical "bagel", with a raised rim and a knob at the center from which the shoots emerge.

Before it reaches blooming age, a seedling S. leucotricha has very ordinary-looking juvenile foliage, as shown by a young tuber.
