On June 11th, over at WarrenEllis.com, Ellis posted "Well, Bugger Me, It's A Colour Page From PLANETARY #27," and posted the following (which he got from a new WildStorm blog called, appropriately enough, The Bleed): A sample of Cassaday's page 18, Issue 27 finished art, with Martin's colors. Click the image to open a larger version! In The Bleed post from June 10th that provided the image, Austin provides the first word on the ship date, saying: "This October. You may've heard it hinted elsewhere, but we're confirming it here now." In a subsequent post that day, WildStorm Senior Editor Ben Abernathy stated: "I would never have thought, all those years ago reading that short story (the Planetary preview story - RDG), that someday I would be a senior editor at WildStorm Productions overseeing the final issue of this incredible, defining work. It's taken some time to put all the pieces together, but I think it's going to be a satisfying conclusion for all the fans who've patiently (and some impatiently!) waited all this time." I've updated the running list of all of Ellis' Bad Signal updates on Issue 27's status with all of the things I'd found since the June '07 update to the site. (None of them seemed worth an update when they came out, but they're still entertaining, in their own way.) Click on over to the News page for the list....
